Retirees are able to stay in the Life Insurance and Health Insurance group plans.  Retirees have no cost sharing for the plans and should “shop around” for other insurance options

If you sign out of the  Life Insurance and/or Health Insurance before you retire you can get back in the plans but you have to show proof of insurability.  It can be difficult to be cleared to get back into the plan and the retiree is responsible for any costs for the testing.  If you want to be in the retiree plans you should make sure you are enrolled in the plan a few months before you retire. Please contact Johnson for additional information.

There is no dental coverage for retirees.
